Smith St Bistrot brings refined French bistrot dining to Collingwood, with two distinct private spaces perfect for weddings, corporate lunches, anniversary parties, milestone birthdays, and long-table dinners.
Expect art deco details, warm lighting, and Parisian charm in a setting that feels refined yet relaxed and welcoming.
Food and drink are central to every private event at Smith St Bistrot, with menus inspired by Scott Pickett's classic French training and European influences. Guests can choose from sharing menus, three-course experiences, a chef's degustation, or canapé-style events, with optional enhancements such as oysters, charcuterie, fromage platters, and additional sides.
Beverage packages are available alongside drinks on consumption and optional champagne upgrades. Audio-visual equipment, florals, and other enhancements can be arranged with our dedicated events team to make your celebration extra special.
The Mezzanine
Up the restored spiral staircase, you'll discover our enchanting Mezzanine Level*, the perfect stage to host your intimate soirée. With a romantic wrought iron balustrade overlooking the ground-floor dining room, it's the ideal setting for a memorable event.
Please note that the Mezzanine Level is subject to availability as it is also a bookable space for the Main Dining Room.

'La Vie en Rose’
Ascend further up the spiral staircase, and you'll find 'La Vie en Rose,' a sophisticated second dining room designed for private events and celebrations.
The ambience reflects the overall bistrot aesthetic — art-deco meets 1920s Paris. Interiors were carefully restored and designed using antiques, ornate mirrors, and even a hand-painted mural.
