Join us at Smith St Bistrot for a five-course feast celebrating Auguste Escoffier's five mother sauces—béchamel, velouté, espagnole, hollandaise, and tomato. Larousse in Real Life pays homage to the legendary book 'Larousse Gastronomique' and is designed with the ultimate Francophile in mind.
Inspired by the foundational techniques documented by Escoffier, our menu transforms the theoretical brilliance of French cuisine into a living, breathing dining experience. Guests will receive a commemorative recipe booklet and can enhance their evening with an optional Burgundy wine pairing, creating a memorable journey through the fundamental building blocks of French gastronomy.
